Design and Optimization of Steering Knuckle/Upright for BAJA SAE

Steering Knuckle is a key component of the Wheel Assembly. It primarily defines the wheel geometry and those parameters control the vehicle's handling performance. Therefore it is critical to design it accurately.

To start off, we first need the important suspension geometry parameters, which can be obtained by performing Motion analysis of the vehicle suspension system. During 2019 season, we relied on the Lotus software to design our vehicle geometry.
